Police Arrest Nkiru Sylvanus' Kidnappers In Imo

The suspected kidnappers of Nollywood actress, Nkiru Sylvanus have been arrested by police in Owerri, Imo State. The Imo State police command paraded the suspect on Monday, December 31, 2012 in Owerri.

According to the state police commissioner, Adisa Bolanta, the four paraded suspected kidnappers of Nkiru are Stella Opara, Festus Olegeme, Okoro Basil and Chijoke Chima. They were arrested in their hideout in Imerienwe, Imo State, by the police after an intelligence report.

Ransom received from the actress' family by the kidnappers was also retrieved from them, the police said. It was reported that the kidnappers collected the sum of N8million from the family before they released Nkiru.
