Most Expensive Purse In the World

For most celebrities, carrying expensive hand bags and purses is what’s popping. Much to my surprise, some of these bags really cost a fortune! The expensive purses are usually covered with diamonds, rubies and other precious stones. Celebrities carry these purses to functions like the Oscars, Golden Globe awards.

The most expensive purse that has been made so far is by a Dubai based designer at a cost of US $3.8 million – three million, eight hundred thousand dollars. At 160 naira(as at publishing) to the dollar, the naira equivalent cost is 608 million naira. This is more than half a billion naira!  

The heart shaped purse was handmade and it took about 4 months to finish. It had over 4,000 diamonds and a limited edition of 1 (one) was made. A handbag or purse made for the Oscars starts at $100,000 (one hundred thousand dollars only) this is equivalent to 1.6 million naira only.

So far the record breaker is the $ 3.8 million purse. Cheers!
