Sister Deborah joins FOKN BOIS To Perform At Glastonbury Festival

‘Uncle Obama…I like the size of your banana..”, she had the world singing along and now Sister Deborah will hit one of the biggest global music stage to perform her viral song.  She is expected to join talented duo FOKN BOIS made of her brother,Wanlov and the eclectic M3nsa to perform at the Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Arts this year. The 2013 Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts is scheduled to be held from 26–30 June 2013. It follows a fallow year, in which there was no festival and organizers are keeping a tight lip on performers at the festival for now.
With a solid tradition of excellence, the Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts is an event many people look forward to. It takes place near Pilton, Somerset, England. It is best known for its contemporary theme, but also for dance, comedy, theatre, circus, cabaret and others.
The first few editions were influenced by hippie ethics and the free festival movement. The festival retains vestiges of this tradition such as the Green Fields area which includes the Green Futures and Healing Field. After the 1970s the festival took place almost every year and grew in size, with the number of attendees sometimes being swollen by gate-crashers.
Tickets for this year’s event sold out last October in a record 1 hour 40 minutes. However the organizers say there will be a resale in April. This year’s tickets are going for 205 Pounds, which include 11 pounds booking and postage fee.
The headline acts for this year’s event have been booked but the organizers have kept their identity, a secret. This year’s event takes place in June.
